Summer Day.by `Lakaia

Photography / Still Life

I am experimenting with a still life. I set the whole thing up for an artistic shot. I literally took 100+ shots of this glass and various flowers/colored water. I would really appreciate some critique so if I need to redo this shot than I could.

This is absolutely beautiful. I love the use of blues and and purples!

I agree with everyone about the shell. If you do not wish to get rid of it, put in a shell that more goes with the colors of the glass. Also, maybe add a little bit of sand.

If you can, when you retake this, I suggest taking it at a beach.
